Jap\u00f3n hace gala de una cultura milenaria, compleja, impecable y rica en todos los
aspectos que encanta a todo aquel que entra en contacto con ella, un aspecto destacable
corresponde al cuidado del medio ambiente y su entorno.
Conocida como Daisugi o “mesa de cedro”, se trata de una ingeniosa t\u00e9cnica para
optimizar la producci\u00f3n de madera sin necesidad de talar \u00e1rboles, su origen se remonta
al siglo XIV en la ciudad de Kioto. Al ser una ciudad monta\u00f1osa con laderas pronunciadas
y grandes despe\u00f1aderos, hac\u00edan del cultivo de \u00e1rboles una tarea sumamente compleja
pero necesaria para edificaci\u00f3n de la creciente ciudad de Kioto, fue exactamente \u00e9sta
escasez de materia prima la que oblig\u00f3 a los pobladores a buscar soluciones y desarrollar
esta asombrosa t\u00e9cnica inspirada en la poda de los bonsais, que a m\u00e1s de solventar el
problema logr\u00f3 incrementar notablemente la cantidad, resistencia y calidad de la madera,
creando majestuosos y m\u00edsticos paisajes.
Un \u00e1rbol puede producir entre 12 y 100 v\u00e1stagos de cedro que se recolectan cada 20
a\u00f1os, un per\u00edodo muy corto comparado con otras t\u00e9cnicas, est\u00e1 t\u00e9cnica ya m\u00e1s que
probada en Jap\u00f3n es un gran ejemplo de que la tala desmedida y la cada vez m\u00e1s grande
devastaci\u00f3n de bosques a nivel mundial nunca ser\u00e1 justificada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japan boasts a millenary, complex, impeccable and rich culture in all aspects that
enchants everyone who comes into contact with it, a remarkable aspect corresponds to
the care of the environment and its surroundings.
Known as Daisugi or \u201ccedar table\u201d, it is an ingenious technique to optimize the production
of wood without the need to cut down trees, its origin dates back to the 14th century in the
city of Kyoto. Being a mountainous city with steep slopes and large cliffs, made the
cultivation of trees a very complex but necessary task for the construction of the growing
city of Kyoto, it was exactly this scarcity of raw material that forced the inhabitants to look
for solutions and develop this amazing technique inspired by the pruning of bonsais,
which in addition to solving the problem managed to significantly increase the quantity,
resistance and quality of the wood, creating majestic and mystical landscapes.
A tree can produce between 12 and 100 cedar shoots that are harvested every 20 years, a
